JUNO Award-Winning Reggae Artist Kirk Diamond & Finn Set To Release Highly Anticipated Album 'DREAD'

Kirk Diamond and Finn are thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated album, "DREAD" set to drop on October 6th 2023. This will be Kirk Diamond's first album and with a Juno Award accreditation preceding it for the lead single "Reggae Party" Dread promises to push the boundaries of reggae, elevating the genre to new heights.

The Juno Awards are the Canadian equivalent to the Grammy Awards, and with 5 nominations and 2 wins, Kirk Diamond is definitely one of leaders pushing Reggae forward in Canada.

The "DREAD" Album is an ode to the golden Era of Reggae. Diamond who was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, Grew up in Toronto after migrating with his family at an early age. Finn is a Canadian born producer to Jamaican parents. With Reggae Music from the 70s, 80s and 90s being great influences to them both, that shared love for Reggae is what inspired the "DREAD" Album.

Featured on the album are Tiffanie Malvo, daughter of Dancehall Legend Anthony Malvo, Kairo Mclean, 2 time Juno Award Winner and youngest to ever win the Reggae category. Also featured on the Album is the Legendary Reggae Sound System Owner and Operator, Ricky Trooper. Trooper has been known for bringing extraordinary talents to the forefront. Notably, Garnet Silk and Luciano The Messenger to name a few. Kirk Diamond and Finn's "DREAD" is a testament to their unwavering passion for music and their commitment to preserving Reggae Music while delivering exceptional artistry.

Following the album debut on Friday october 6th is the Album release concert on Saturday October 7th, at Drake Underground in Toronto.

The award-winning reggae singer, songwriter, producer, and social activist’s music is laced with messages of unity, inclusion, and love — all delivered with the help of his band 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗵𝗿𝘆𝗲𝗹. Since their formation, they have opened for international reggae powerhouses and performed on global stages.
