Toronto R&B Songstress Aqyila Unveils Debut EP

Rising Toronto R&B artist Aqyila is poised to cement her place in the music scene with the release of her highly anticipated debut EP, For The Better. The project, an introspective collection that draws inspiration from the highs and lows of her own personal journey.


Aqyila’s ascent to prominence began with a viral TikTok showcasing her track, “Vibe for Me (Bob For Me),” intriguing audiences worldwide with her unique blend of soulful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. The bouncy song has reached 19M streams worldwide, and was released with Sony Music Entertainment Canada, resulting in her very first JUNO Award nomination in 2022 for Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year. Building on this early success, For The Better delves deeper into her artistic exploration, inviting listeners to join her on a transformative expedition through life’s adventures.
