The Weber Brothers Team Up With Paul James, Paul Reddick and Petunia on Bob Dylan Masterpiece

It goes without saying that it was a life-changing experience when Ryan and Sam Weber saw The Last Waltz for the first time. Growing up in the suburbs of Baltimore, they became obsessed with the idea of someone following the path of their heroes in The Band by playing with Ronnie Hawkins. Still in their teens, the Webers picked up stakes and went north of the border to meet The Hawk who, bowled over by their enthusiasm, gladly took them under his wing and taught them how to play rock and roll the "proper" way.

Fast forward 20 years, and The Weber Brothers are one of Canada's most exciting live bands, having forged their own sound out of a mix of classic rock, power pop, and Americana. Their brand new release is a stunning cover of Bob Dylan's 1965 masterpiece "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" featuring a number of guests including Toronto's Paul James, a longtime Dylan friend who is frequently invited on stage whenever Bob performs in southern Ontario. Also taking part are Juno nominated blues artist Paul Reddick and acclaimed Vancouver Americana artist Petunia.

Please enjoy this incredible tribute to the master.

The Weber Brothers have shared the stage with The Band's Garth Hudson and Levon Helm, Leon Russell, Derek Trucks, Merle Haggard and Lynyrd Skynyrd, just to name a few, while touring extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
As studio musicians as well, the brothers have recorded on hundreds of outside projects, including work with Gordon Lightfoot, Kris Kristofferson, Ronnie Hawkins, and Willie Nelson.

Earlier in 2021, The Weber Brothers released Choose Your Own Adventure, their 13th full-length album, and a reunion of sorts with Baltimore MD-based musician/producer extraordinaire Timothy Bracken, who just so happens to have ridden the same bus to elementary school as the Webers in their hometown of Westminster, MD.

The trio of Ryan, Sam, and Tim has been making music together for 30 years, and with Bracken’s masterfully adept hand wielding the mixing, mastering, and production duties, Choose Your Own Adventure fires on all cylinders and leaps from the speakers, offering the listener an exciting and compelling hour-long thrill ride.

The Weber Brothers' "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding" and Choose Your Own Adventure are available now on all digital platforms and from Bandcamp.
