TALK Releases Soulful Rock Anthem 'A Little Bit Happy'

By Stevie Connor.

Platinum recording artist, TALK, has released his new single, “A Little Bit Happy”. The single — as well as TALK’s entire forthcoming album — is executive produced by Justin Tranter (Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy), who fell in love with TALK after hearing his single, “Run Away To Mars”. “I was sent TALK’s first single, “Run Away To Mars” , a day after it came out and I was blown away. I immediately wanted to write with him. He is vulnerable, he is rock ‘n roll, and he’s a SINGER – in all capital letters,” Justin said.

When discussing the collaboration, TALK was smiling ear to ear as he talked about Justin’s involvement with the single and album. “Working with Justin Tranter was a dream come true. We’ve been in touch for a couple of years and had worked together a few times before. Everything from then on fell into place perfectly and we got to work on an incredible body of music. I’m honoured to call him a friend and mentor,” TALK said.

“A Little Bit Happy” provides a powerful message to those who have longed for acceptance from their loved ones. The production in the song adds a soulful sense of longingness that supports the emotional lyrics projected by TALK’s dreamy vocals. When talking about the new single, TALK had beautiful words to say.

“For a long time, I didn’t feel beautiful. Every time I looked in the mirror, I hated what I saw. This was my reality every day for the last decade. Then I met my partner, and she was the first person to make me feel happy and beautiful in a long time,” He said, “This song serves as a reminder of how she sees me. For the times I feel down and out and for anyone else who’s had body image issues or feels like they don’t belong.”

With the combination of TALK’s powerful vocals and the genius mind of Justin Tranter, “A Little Bit Happy” is an anthem to revisit during trying times.

TALK is currently on the road supporting Young the Giant with Milky Chance on over 20 dates including the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tickets are on sale now. Full dates are listed below. In addition to the tour, TALK will be performing at festivals including Lollapalooza, Life is Beautiful and Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival, as well as supporting Shania Twain and Imagine Dragons on dates through the summer and fall.
