Anne Connor, President of Blues & Roots Radio said "We felt that this year would be a good time to seek sponsorship for the contest, it is now established with entries coming in from all over the world, and during this very difficult time for artists, because of the pandemic, we felt it would be an opportunity to offer some monetary value to the contest, rewarding each category winner for their efforts, and an additional award to the overall winner. We are blessed to have sponsors who enthusiastically support independent artists and were willing to help us achieve this, we are extremely grateful that they have done so. "
