UK Singer-Songwriter Jim Chorley Releases New Video For 'Fly Swift Little Sparrow'

Jim Chorley is an Acoustic/Folk Singer-Songwriter from Southampton in Hampshire, England. His songs, lyrics and recordings are honest and from the heart, down to earth and real. Telling of wild woods and Welshman's Daughters, sing along Sea Shanties on the high rolling seas, romantic meetings on the cobbled streets of a midnight city and the magical, mystical, mysteries of love and nature.
Having radio exposure from a variety of stations including the BBC and Blues & Roots Radio, playing countless live shows and festivals, including the renowned Cambridge Folk festival, Larmer Tree festival in Wiltshire and The Wickham Folk festival in Hampshire, Jim is currently writing and recording and and will be releasing a consistent flow of music and videos throughout 2021.
‘Fly Swift Little Sparrow’ is Jim’s fifth single release and is a gentle and poetic tale about living in the moment with purpose and gratitude.
Its lyrics tell of brief moments ‘In a raindrop, in a river, in a ripple, in a stream’ and Jim’s evocative vocals authentically allow the songs story to peacefully weave its wonder.
Acoustic arpeggios form the musical backdrop, alongside brief harmonica interludes and a reverb laden, sensitive melodic electric guitar played by Ed Adams.
‘Fly swift Little Sparrow’ opens Jim’s musical releases for 2021 and is the perfect way to set the stage for upcoming singles and EP’s over the coming months and year ahead.
