British Columbia-by-way-of-Manitoba-based Tim & The Glory Boys release the deluxe version of their wildly successful, award-winning self-titled debut album.
Since the album’s April release, it has garnered over 25 million streams in Canada. The last single before the album’s release, “Take Me Backroad” featuring High Valley, was the band’s highest charting song ever at #5 on Canadian Country Radio. This year, the band took home their first ever wins at the Canadian Country Music Awards for Album of the Year and Video of the Year, capping off an outstanding year of success for the group.
The deluxe version of the album will include the all-new tracks “Falling for You” produced by Rob Persaud (Billy Currington, BRELAND) and co-written by Lauren LaRue (Kelsea Ballerini, Jojo, BANNERS) as well as “Roll This Stone” featuring The Road Hammers. It will also include stripped back acoustic versions of original album cuts “When You Know You Know” and “Me Without You.”
Tim & The Glory Boys will return with their third Christmas single on October 12th – a cover of Mariah Carey’s timeless classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You”!
Last year’s holiday cover “Sleigh Ride” racked up an impressive 2.2 million streams in November and December of 2022 alone.
It’s easy to get swept up in the feel-good, hand-raising joy of a Tim & The Glory Boys show. Or laugh along to their well-documented Letterkenny-like hoser escapades. What’s most important though is that the British Columbia-by-way-of-Manitoba boys are making music from — and for — the heart.
Formed in 2013, Tim & The Glory — Tim Neufeld (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Colin Trask (dobro/percussionist) and Brenton Thorvaldson (banjo/guitar), call their boot-stompin' sound "canoegrass," a nod to both their bluegrass roots and the rustic country Canadiana the band have more recently begun exploring to great success.
This canoegrass sound anchors the band's new self-titled debut full-length album for Sony Canada. The album includes an astounding five songs which have already hit the Top 40 at country radio and have generated almost 30 million streams worldwide. “When You Know You Know” has received gold certification for total listens. The two-time Juno Award winners have also become mainstays at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards, having been nominated in 2021 for Group of the Year and Rising Star, and again in 2022 for Group of the Year.
