The Escarpment Blues Society Set To Launch With Hamilton, Ontario Hometown Concert

The Escarpment Blues Society is presenting its first event, the official launch of the new not-for-profit organization, with an incredible line-up of some of the best on the blues music scene on May 28th at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre.

Featuring Hamilton's own Harrison Kennedy and Jack de Keyzer, the evening will also feature performances from Montreal's Dawn Tyler Watson, Ontario's Suzie Vinnick, Steve Marriner and Steve Strongman all backed by the EBS All Stars (Colin Lapsley, Jesse O'Brien, Matt Burns, and Roly Platt).

The Escarpment Blues Society is a membership-based organization whose goal is to promote blues and roots music through multiple avenues, including live performances, artist support, education with Blues in the Schools’ programs as well as to support local, national, and international blues and roots artists in the Niagara Escarpment area.

"The Escarpment Blues Society is a brand-new music venture that has been formed by a volunteer board of directors, steeped deep in the local music industry", says EBS Board President Ken Wallis. "We have a stellar line-up of multiple award-winning musicians that will rock the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre.  Truly the music event of the year!"
