'State of Confusion' is the Powerful New Single From Fife Singer-Songwriter Cody Feechan



State of Confusion is the powerful new single from Fife Singer-Songwriter Cody Feechan. The Indie-Pop single, captures a her live energy with its uplifting summer feel. Previous single ‘Breathe’ secured number 2 in the iTunes singer-songwriter chart and Number 1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases.


Cody Feechan is a singer-songwriter from Fife, Scotland, who has been noticed for her unique voice and subtle Scottish lilt that shines through in her songs. Taking influences from all sorts of genres, Cody's music is best described as Alternative Rock with a touch of Pop. Playing with her full band, Cody has been going from strength to strength over the past few years. Keir Smith (Lead Guitar), James McMurray (Keyboard & Backing Vocals), James Martin (Bass) and Stephen MacLeod (Drums).


Following recent success of breaking into the UK Official Charts for Scottish Singles, Cody continued to keep the momentum going with her last single 'Breathe' which was released in March 2021. 'Breathe' quickly reached number 2 in the Singer-Songwriter Chart on iTunes before breaking into the Official iTunes Chart. It also reached number 1 in the Amazon Music Hot New Releases and Best Seller for Folk.


Cody has gained regular airplay from Kingdom FM and her last single 'Breathe' secured a position on their playlist. She has also secured airplay on RTE Radio 1 and BBC Radio Scotland as well as gaining recognition from Scottish Actor Robert Carlyle.


Over the last few years Cody has played at venues all over Scotland as well as performing on The Riverside Show on STV Glasgow. Cody took to the stage to perform at the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards Ceremony 2019 where she also won the award for the 'Home Grown Talent' category. Cody has also played at top venues including King Tuts Wah Wah Hut as well as performing at The Barrowlands Ballroom.


Cody is set to take to the stage at a number of festivals this summer including Capers in Cannich in the Highlands, Gateways Festival in Skipton, and Fringe by the Sea Festival in North Berwick. She will also be performing alongside Skerryvore and Manran at Reid Hall in Forfar in December.
