Singer-Songwriters Danny Hamilton and Jesse Lynn Madera Team Up for Emotional Duet

Alternative-country artist Danny Hamilton has released his latest single, "At Least for a While," featuring the exquisite vocals of Jesse Lynn Madera. The singer/songwriters' voices play off each other well and the emotional ballad features an incredible lineup of musicians including Stevie Blacke (P!nk, Elton John, Lady Gaga), Gary Morse (Brooks & Dunn), Butch Norton (The Eels, Lucinda Williams), Freddy Hernandez (Boingo), and Al Bonhamme.

"My friend Bobby Bognar wrote the song and I've been playing it for years," says Danny. "I had always imagined it as a male/female duet and have been wanting to record it that way for SO LONG. When the pandemic struck, I taught myself some piano chords and turned it into a piano song. Once I heard it that way, it immediately clicked and lit the spark in my brain."

"I met Jesse through Stevie Blacke, who played violin on this tune and the two other quarantine singles I released this past year. (My quarantunes! ;) ) Stevie put me in touch with Jesse when I was on the search for the perfect voice. A dream come true, both as a voice and as a person. Just an absolute joy to work with and to have as a friend. I'm so grateful."

Listening to Danny Hamilton you will hear the incredible depth and scope of Americana, folk, roots rock, and everything in between that an accomplished singer-songwriter such as Danny has in his arsenal.

Jesse Lynn Madera blends country, soul, and jazz seamlessly in her music. The granddaughter of self-taught back porch musicians, she follows in the footsteps of her musical family to create songs with depth and thought-provoking lyrics, cultivating a compellingly unique sound.
