Well-known and respected Wollongong musician, Loki Hines, began playing the guitar at the age of four and was gigging professionally by the time he was 14.
Loki has toured extensively across Australia and abroad with artists such as Kim Churchill, Daniel Champagne, Shaun Kirk, Lime Cordiale, the Vanns and Tynne-James Organ just to name a few. Now an accomplished singer-songwriter Loki has recently worked alongside well-known artists such as Kasey and Bill Chambers and Brandon Dodd of Grizzlee Train.
Loki has just finished recording his first long awaited EP, Wildfire at the Rabbit Hole Studios produced by Brandon Dodd.
Of the release Loki says, "In January this year I hit the road with my best mate Andrew Banovich to lay down some tracks at the The Rabbit Hole Recording Studio, for my EP. I had no idea what to expect that week but I walked away from one of the most authentic creative experiences of my life, not just with the EP of my dreams, but with some mates for life.
I cannot thank Kasey Chambers and Brandon Dodd enough for my time up in the studio with them, and I still pinch myself that I was lucky enough to have the man,Bill Chambers, lend his time to us. As well as Jeff McCormack and my best mate Banno, I couldn't have done all this without any them. This was one of the best times of my life. I even wrote a song about it, that I'm sure I'll record with all of them again some time soon."
The first release off of that EP "Running out of time" dropped on September 12th.
