Peruvian Born Australia-Based Multi-Instrumentalist Country Artist Javier Releases New Single

Javier is a talented Country artist based in Newcastle, Australia. Javier is proficient in playing guitar, bass guitar, and mandolin. He is best known for playing the local Newcastle music circuit, supporting local independent bands and artists. Javier's ability to adapt to play almost any genre has had him most recently play the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Javier is Peruvian born and now a proud Novocastrian. He is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter whose previous EP Back and Forth gave us a sultry sexy blend of organic instruments & RNB sounds featuring many of Newcastle’s foremost vocalists.

Javier previously released single Falling Deeper brings the promise of happy times and wonderful romances for this Australian summer. A positive and upbeat track beautifully written and performed.

This latest single "Precious Gem" showcases Javier’s musical and vocal talents in an exciting Bluegrass/Country fusion. Recorded & produced by local living Country music legend Bill Chambers, this melodic trip through tough times with feelings of both introspection and positivity, reminds us that even when we’re feeling over-whelmed each experience and moment is indeed a “Precious Gem.”

The track is an uplifting tale of love, life and moving forward which is so relevant in these strange times. This is an amazing new direction for Javier’s Music with just the right amount of sentiment and warm melody which is a great introduction for those new to Javier’s music and a wonderful extension for those already a fan.

Javier moved from Peru to Australia in 2005. Learning a second language was always going to be a challenge, even more challenging learning Aussie slang. He says it was a big cultural adjustment between Peru & Australia. Javier was playing music back in Peru as a hobby more than anything, but one of his biggest highlights was his first of 4 tours of Japan with a Latino-American band in 2000.
