Outstanding Toronto Area Singers & Musicians Assembled For Release of Epic Stories of Canada's Past

Recently, Michael J. Moore has completed two projects, "In Remembrance", which delves into Canada's contributions and sacrifices in war, and "Always Loved Never Lost" which pays tribute to six epic stories of Canada's past.

"Always Loved Never Lost", released during the pandemic, is a journey into six epic stories in Canadian history. Michael J. Moore delves into the stories of Terry Fox, the Halifax explosion, Louis Riel, the disappearance of the Wendat from Georgian Bay, the sinking of the Empress of Ireland and the expulsion of the Acadians. The songs are heartfelt and crafted in such a way that the past becomes the present. Producer Justin Abedin assembles an outstanding group of Toronto area singers and musicians, and helps give the record an authentic Canadian vibe.

Raised in Petawawa, Ontario, Michael J. Moore was introduced to the trumpet in grade school and music became a passion and focus of his life. Michael completed a Bachelor of Music at the University of Toronto, focusing on classical trumpet. Michael free-lanced in the Toronto area, playing in various orchestras, ensembles, and solo engagements.

Michael also completed a Bachelor of Education and enjoyed a full music teaching career in York Region.

Two of Michael's songs have been performed live at two signature events---the 70th Anniversary Ceremony of the Liberation of the Netherlands (Holten Canadian War Cemetery, Holland), and the 100th Anniversary Ceremony for the Battle of Vimy Ridge in Ottawa (National War Memorial), events covered by major media outlets.
