Miranda Lambert's New Single 'If I Was A Cowboy' Out Now
Superstar Miranda Lambert is ushering in her next musical era with her anticipated new single, “If I Was a Cowboy”.
“I wrote this song with my new friend, Jesse Frasure. We met doing the remix of ‘Tequila Does’ and he and I just got together one afternoon for a write and this is what came out of it,” explained Lambert. “It’s funny, he’s a Detroit boy and I’m an East Texan, but somehow we wrote a song about the Wild West together.”
“If I Was A Cowboy” follows Lambert’s two No.1 Smash hits at Canadian Country radio, “Settling Down” and “Bluebird” from her GRAMMY Award-winning album Wildcard.
In addition to her new music, Lambert is also releasing her first-ever fragrance – Idyllwind Eau De Parfum by Miranda Lambert. Combining Lambert’s favourite scents, the perfume includes notes of Georgia sweet peach blossoms, and musky golden sandalwood that stirs memories of the piney woods of East Texas. Idyllwind Eau De Parfum is available now for pre-order at Idyllwind.com with delivery expected to begin in late October.
Lambert is currently nominated for Entertainer, Female Vocalist, and Musical Event of the Year (“Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King) at “The 55th Annual CMA Awards.” She is the most nominated female artist in the history of the CMA Awards and recently became the third most-nominated artist overall, tying with Brad Paisley.
