Madeline Rosene Has Released A New Album 'Everyday Existential Crisis'
Madeline Rosene is an “indie pop-n-roll” songwriter-singer known for her lyrical acerbic wit, irreverent humour, and willingness to cross and rethink genres.
Rosene released her debut album, Raised on Porn, just weeks before the global Covid-19 pandemic in 2019. The album deals with fighting phoniness, navigating relationships in Los Angeles as a millennial knowing that this generation was the first to be raised with surging rates of cosmetic surgery, overly photoshopped images, sugar-dating, internet pornography, social media, and dating apps. The album title speaks to Rosene’s beliefs on the increasing difficulty for humans to deeply connect with one another due to society’s growing pressure to depersonalize, plug in, and create your avatar.
Madeline has performed at venues such as Hotel Cafe, Los Globos, The Viper Room, and Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles and Arlene’s Grocery in New York City. Her music has been played on radio stations internationally and throughout the United States.
Rosene prioritizes her lyrics and melodies above all of her artistic pursuits. Her second album, Everyday Existential Crisis, was released October 28th, 2022.
