Journeyman Nick DePalma Drops New Single 'Blues Is Good For The Soul'



Journeyman Nick DePalma is an Italian-born Canadian-based solo guitarist, singer-songwriter and artist that plays Blues, Rock and R&B. Influenced by artists such as Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, John Mayall, Otis Redding and Muddy Waters. He lives in Ottawa, Ontario, but was born in Milano, Italy having moved at the age of 3.


His music is raw, upbeat, rhythmic and energetic.. His songs BlackJack, Still doing time, Steel Wheels and many others have been picked up and played on many internet radio stations. He was nominated for 'Male Artist of the Year 2020' in the 2nd annual CFAB honour roll. He also recently won a runner up award at Insanely Gifted Radio.


He has been in bands over his career that have played shows in Ottawa at venues such as the Rainbow, Whipping Post, Downstairs Club, Grand Central and high school coffee houses. Some of these bars have not survived with the passage of time. Other bands he either joined or formed were Scotland Yard, The Sugardaddys, The Prairie Mud band, The Journeymen and now he has continued as a solo artist.


Nick's latest release is the single 'Blues Is Good For The Soul', which is currently airing worldwide on the multi award-winning Blues & Roots Radio
