GRAMMY®-Nominated Irish Singer-Songwriter Hozier Drops New Album 'Unreal Unearth'

GRAMMY®-nominated / RIAA Diamond-certified singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Hozier has released his highly anticipated third studio album Unreal Unearth.
The single“De Selby (Part 2)” starring Irish actor and screenwriter Domhnall Gleeson follows the visuals for previously released singles “Eat Your Young,” “All Things End,” and “Francesca.”
Using Dante’s Inferno and the 9 circles of hell as a loose structure, the 16-track LP follows a captivating thematic arc informed by the turbulence of the world and the fight for a better and brighter tomorrow. Unreal Unearth, featuring 11 brand new songs including “Damage Gets Done” with Brandi Carlile, traces a provocative, poetic, and powerful roadmap back into the light.
In speaking about Unreal Unearth, Hozier says: “A lot of the initial writing took place in the early days of the pandemic. It felt like a very surreal time—as if the earth was on its head. That’s the Unreal part. It was also a season of great misinformation. It felt like we stepped into an alternative world. I liked Unearth as a verb ‘to dig’ or ‘to uncover.’ It describes a world that is not of this earth. The record is the experience of a journey through a certain period.”
With over 1 million tickets sold worldwide, Hozier will bring his massive international ‘Unreal Unearth Tour’ to North America with the first show on September 9 in St. Louis, MO. He will perform 28 sold-out shows across 25 cities, including Madison Square Garden in New York and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, marking his largest headline run in the U.S. and Canada to date.
Following his North American run, Hozier will return to Europe for the remainder of his international shows that will conclude with three performances at Dublin’s 3Arena.
