Australian Country Music's Wild Woman, Natalie Henry, Unleashes Tender Side On New Single

“Blue” is another close to the edge song from Australian Country artist, Natalie Henry.

Recorded in the hills of Byron Bay at Rocking Horse Studios, “Blue”, is lifted from Henry’s acclaimed album, “White Heat”. The song captures a more gentle side of one of Australia's finest female country songwriters.

“Holding close the feeling left in the studio that day and what this song gives melodically, I know every person has felt these absent feelings”, says Natalie. “It’s my favourite track on the album”.

Natalie Henry is country through and through and that reflects within her songwriting. Her no-holds, vulnerable and un-sanitized style of story telling, serve to make her songs timeless. “Blue” is another shining example of just that.

Newcastle’s Natalie Henry entered 2021 with a bang, successfully crowd-funding a brand-spankin-new album to the tune of $15,000. Recorded at Rocking Horse Studios in the Byron Bay hinterland of New South Wales. The album was produced by Country Music heavyweight Catherine Britt (toured and performed with the likes of Sir Elton John and Dolly Parton) and Michael Muchow (of ARIA charting music renown).
