Australia's Award-Winning Folkies Corn Nut Creek Release 'Home On Earth' From Upcoming Album

By Stevie Connor.

Home on Earth, the new single from Corn Nut Creek, was inspired by the highs and lows of going on tour, then coming home desperately needing to feel grounded. It originated as a poem highlighting the profound effect and positive influence that the natural world has on us. The banjo and fiddle paint scenes of flower gardens and hands that dig deep into the soil, reconnecting to ourselves and the land. This track is part of their first full album 'Into Light', which is set to release in late 2023.

Speaking about Home on Earth, Corn Nut Creek said, “The song deals with themes of mental health, which is something that's always been important to us on a very personal level.”

Tanya added, “I hope this song helps people to see that these ups and downs we experience are really normal. It's ok to hide yourself away sometimes if that's what you need to do because you'll emerge stronger, brighter and better than before.”
