The hard-hitting and spirited single Soldier On from passionate South African Alternative pop Singer-Songwriter Tian Nienaber has been released, produced by the master in the art of 'Legehness' (awesomeness) Peach Van Pletzen at Planet Awesome.
Tian Nienaber is a passionate South African Singer-Songwriter who started his career in the Music Industry at the age of 17 as a Sound Engineer and Rigger. For the first 6 years of his career, Tian spent a lot of time on the road with copious artists and assisted several sizeable festivals (learning as much as possible about the industry, whilst building invaluable relationships). Tian has been playing guitar and writing music since the age of 12, so it came as no surprise that he decided to follow his dream to become a Performing Artist after experiencing the Music Industry behind-the-scenes.
The past 6 years Tian has been performing his formidable marque of Alternative Acoustic Tunes full-time, playing notable festivals like ALTERNATIEF IS GROOT and STRAB (Mozambique).
Tian Nienaber says "‘Soldier On’ was originally part of a challenge I did during the Pandemic Lockdown, where I wrote 21 songs in 21 days. It was written shortly after my debut single ‘Hurting Love’ and subsequently evolved into an anthem of hope with a positive message to always hold tight onto the most important and precious things in your life, especially when you get knocked down. With ‘Soldier On’ I aim to inspire those in need to always fight on and fight strong when life knocks you down! It also addresses the hard truth, that often you need to choose which things to sacrifice to achieve the goals you want to achieve."
The master in the art of Legehness Peach Van Pletzen at Planet Awesome TV shares that “After Tian and I worked together on his successful debut single 'Hurting Love', I was not sure how he can top that. However,' Soldier On' is such an epic Anthem, packed with so much honest raw emotional energy, which is amazing to have in a Pop song ...
