Prince Edward Island Singer-Songwriter Jenna-Marie Gallant Releases Second Single 'Innocent Man'

On the heels of her first successful single, Pin Me To The Wall, Jenna-Marie Gallant is excited to be following up with her second release, INNOCENT MAN, available now on most streaming platforms.

Jenna-Marie acknowledges the inspiration for writing INNOCENT MAN, which is based on a tragedy that happens all too often in an imperfect judicial system causing lifelong pain for victims and their families. She recalls being moved by stories of injustice including a man who not only served 10 years in prison for a crime that he didn’t commit, but how the nightmare didn’t end upon his release. The sentence continued long after innocence had been proven.

Gallant had great success with her first single, Pin Me To The Wall, released in May 2021, garnering radio play across Canada, the US, UK, Ireland, Europe and Australia including a feature on CBC Radio’s Saskatchewan Weekend and on multiple campus stations.

The song received numerous accolades including being placed in the TOP 100 of the national CBC Music Toyota Searchlight contest and the HALL OF FAME for the TOP 30 East Coast Countdown with CIOE-FM. It was also featured right here in the Sound Café Magazine.

Most recently, Jenna-Marie Gallant was honoured with a nomination for the ‘New Artist of the Year’, for the 2022 Music PEI Awards.

INNOCENT MAN was recorded at “Don’t Wake Baby Studio” in Charlottetown, PEI with engineer/mixer/producer and member of the super group “Tokyo Police Club”, Greg Alsop, along with Jesse Périard of ”Ten Strings and A Goat Skin”.

Jenna-Marie, is from the North Shore of Prince Edward Island, Canada. With charm, grace, and an honest passionate voice, she has the gift to challenge captivate and enthral her audiences with her driving acoustic-folk style of song writing and music.
