The Juno Award winners Kirk Diamond & Finn have released the second single off of the upcoming album, "Dread ". With the Album already having a Juno accredited to it for the first single, "𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 ". The second single, "𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 " which features Tiffanie Malvo, is already projected to be a hit. Bringing forward the sounds of the early 90s Dancehall, Kirk Diamond and Finn created an ode to what many consider to be the golden Era of Dancehall.
"Many artists have tried to recreate the 90s Dancehall sound. Finn and I were intentional in this specific one, because we have never heard it done." Kirk says, "I like to call it, 'The sexy hardcore' but not vulgar. I'm really excited to see how well this single will do. A lot of my supporters have been asking for me to do more Dancehall, so i think they'll love this."
With a rich and polished career in the music industry, it's no surprise that Diamond is one of, if not Canada's most celebrated Reggae Superstar. With now 5 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗼 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 Nominations and his second win for Reggae Recording of The Year following the city of Brampton naming a Park in his honour just 12 months prior.
