Editorial: Heartfelt Thanks for Your Support and Exciting News Ahead In 2024!

Dear Community/Followers/Friends,

We hope this message finds you well. First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who took the time to reach out to us through social media, private messages, emails, and phone calls to share your sadness about the closure of The Sound Cafe's sister platform, Blues & Roots Radio, of which my wife Anne and I were co-founders, ten years ago. Your outpouring of support has been incredibly touching, and we are truly humbled by the kindness and warmth you have shown us during this transition.

The messages we have received from around the world have been a source of comfort and inspiration for our team. Your love for Blues & Roots Radio has been the driving force behind our passion for music, and we are immensely grateful for the memories we have shared with you over the years. Blues & Roots Radio was the main reason we created The Sound Cafe, to further showcase in print what was being featured on the radio channel.

As we embark on a new chapter in our journey, we are thrilled to share some exciting news about our next venture with The Sound Cafe Magazine. The response to our magazine has been overwhelming, with a remarkable 67,000 readers per month. What's even more impressive is that 90% of our readership comes from organic searches, indicating a genuine and growing interest in the content we provide.

Over the past year, we've experienced a 70% increase in Google searches, a clear sign that our audience is expanding rapidly. The Sound Cafe Magazine is on a trajectory of growth, and we are enthusiastic about the possibilities that 2024 holds for us. We have a small but mighty team, and will be expanding on that as I move into a full time role with The Sound Cafe.

Your unwavering support has fuelled our determination to create a space where music enthusiasts can come together to celebrate the artistry and passion that drive our shared love for music. The Sound Cafe Magazine is not just a publication; it's a community, and we are thrilled to have you as part of it.

Thank you once again for standing by us during this transition. We are eager to embark on this new journey, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for The Sound Cafe Magazine in 2024.

With sincere gratitude,

Stevie Connor
